Position Summary:
As a Physical Therapist at Move Health & Wellness, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing comprehensive physical therapy programs for patients of all ages. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their mobility, reduce pain, and achieve optimal physical functioning. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. We are looking for a part-time or full-time candidate to fill this role.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop individualised treatment plans.
● Coordinate care plans and treatment for patients of motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries.
● Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address mobility, strength, flexibility, and pain management.
● Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
● Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
● Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care techniques.
● Stay informed about the latest developments in physical therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
● Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
● Collaborate and liaise with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in our shared you space.
Qualifications:
● Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
● Current provincial licensure as a Physical Therapist.
● Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
● Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
